About our Committee
Public Information (PI) assists the districts to inform the general public and the AA membership of ways to carry the message, such as workshops, literature kits, and radio and television public announcements. The EPGSA website, www.area59aa.org, is the responsibility of the Public Information committee. (Major changes to the website require full Area committee approval.)
Public Information Committees focus on:
- Giving presentations about A.A to schools and organizations.
- Providing information about A.A. through digital and print materials.
- Insuring local media have accurate information about A.A. through PSAs, anonymity-protected interviews and press kits.

Public Service Announcements
Audio and visual media help to carry A.A.’s message of recovery. Public Service Announcements (PSAs) are available for the public and professionals.
GSO can provide PSAs in a variety of formats as needed for TV and radio broadcasts. Find other media to reach young people, professionals working with alcoholics, and others.
