The event is free for all attendees, however registration on the website is required so that we can make sure that we have a Zoom room big enough to accommodate everyone that would like to attend.

This will be a virtual gathering for the purpose of establishing a method of communication between young people’s conferences and committees so that they can learn from each other’s experience, successes, and struggles. Similar to GSRs sharing about their homegroup at a District meeting and getting feedback on how to handle situations that other groups may have already dealt with.
Additionally, there are sessions that we believe will be of interest to all members involved in service, presented by Past Trustees, Past Delegates, AAGV Staff, and ICYPAA Advisory Members. YPAA related topics include “Understanding Hotel Contracts” and “Create the Fellowship You Crave” which deals with starting a YPAA conference in your state. Topics that might have a wider appeal would be “Know Your Rights” dealing with Concepts 3, 4, and 5, “Point of Order!” which deals with Roberts Rules of Order, and “It Takes a Committee” which shows how committees can carry out 12th Step work in ways that individuals cannot. Additionally there will be a presentation by AAGV on the new app as well as a live recording of the AA Grapevine Half Hour Variety Hour. The event will be concluded by a main speaker meeting by a member that has been heavily involved in both YPAA and General Service.
